Space Shooter

Space Shooter is a shoot 'em up arcade similar to classic games like Space Invaders. This version takes the best parts of the genre to offer an equally dynamic and fun game, now for Android smartphones.

Space Shooter's premise will probably be familiar to most players. You control a raiden, or spaceship pilot, in charge of keeping the alien invasion from reaching Earth. Armed with your spaceship and its upgrades, it's up to you to stop enemy attacks before it's too late. The controls are simple. Basically, the alien invaders are at the top of the screen, placed in varying attack positions that you'll have to break with a clean shot. Every time you kill a group of invaders, you'll get a special weapon to help you kill off more enemies with a single shot.

To move your spaceship, simply slide your finger across the screen. Your spaceship fires automatically, so all you have to do is aim at your enemies, dodging their attacks and picking up new special weapons. When you're overwhelmed, you can unlock a special attack to kill all your enemies with a shock wave, or, if an attack is inevitable, you can use a shield to protect yourself. Of course, at the end of each round, you can also improve your spaceship and level it up.

Space Shooter is a fast-paced and fun arcade game. It doesn't have a particularly original or ground-breaking premise, but the fact that it's based on one of the most classic games of all time bodes well. Even better, it has spectacular graphics and controls perfectly adapted to touch screens.
